Welcome to the newly designed website for The Nines. With the new year we have made a a lot of changes. Starting with our website. Keep in mind that our site is a work in progress. It is our intention to make your visit an enjoyable one and if you have any suggestions for us we would love to hear them.

Who are The Nines?

We are an award winning* eight piece band with powerful and passionate vocals that lead the band in front of energetic horns and an unstoppable rhythm section. We play a wide variety of functions from weddings, corporate functions to a gathering of friends and family.

We can warm things up gradually with a set of swing and jazz or jump right in to the fire, weaving together your favorite R+B, funk, classic rock, disco and top 40. We do songs just the way you fell in love with them, and we pack dance floors. Whether a large reception, small gathering or ceremony, The NINES know the music that fits the mood and deliver a professional performance that will make your event a joyful celebration.

Why are there eight of us in The Nines?
Our name comes from the expression "dressed to the nines" meaning "to the highest degree from head to foot." We strive to play "to the nines" at every event we participate in, including yours.
